About The Jewellery

All pieces from THE SILVER COLLECTIVE are made from 925 Sterling Silver. Sterling Silver is a high quality material in the Jewellery Industry. The remaining part usually consists of copper which is why it is referred to as 925 Sterling Silver. The copper adds strength to the piece to prevent the jewellery from bending or changing shape. You’ll notice your pieces will be stamped with “925” to show it is made with 9.25% pure silver. Our jewellery is Hypoallergenic and Lead and Nickel free making it safe for sensitive skin!

Our Cuffs and Bangles and unisex range are also crafted from stainless steel, a recyclable material, making our jewellery environmentally friendly.

Waterproof

We offer Silver, Gold and Rose Gold plated Jewellery options for our customers. Our silver jewellery is plated with rhodium, a precious metal that is used on white gold jewellery. With this protective plating applied on the base of 925 Sterling silver and stainless steel, our jewellery is durable and can withstand water exposure.

Avoid exposure to chlorine, commonly found in swimming pools, hot tubs, and cleaning products. Chlorine can damage and weaken silver, making it brittle and more prone to breakage.

Warranty Policy

THE SILVER COLLECTIVE offers a 6-month manufacturers warranty from the date of purchase. The item, the date of purchase and proof of purchase must be retained for warranty to be valid. Our jewellery is of delicate nature and care must be taken when worn. To ensure the longevity of your Jewellery, we recommend to follow the care instructions.

Custom Charm Warranty

THE SILVER COLLECTIVE offers a six month manufacturers warranty with all Custom Charm Necklaces purchased in-store and online. The item and proof of purchase must be retained for warranty to be valid. Our jewellery is made of delicate nature and care must be taken when worn. To ensure the longevity of your Jewellery, we recommend to follow the care instructions provided.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects. This does not include tarnishing, general wear and tear, chain breakage, neglect, and the loss of an item. The warranty is voided if the jewellery has been lost, bent, engraved, altered and modified, damaged by accident, misuse, and discolouration caused by scratches and foreign substances. Our Waterproof Jewellery can be worn in water and is made for everyday wear. Our warranty covers the fading of plating in the case where the 925 sterling silver piece beneath starts to show. Slight imperfects can occur due to the hand soldered nature of the piece. All care is taken to ensure the highest quality product is provided.

Care Instructions

To clean your jewellery, polish it with a Polishing Cloth or soft microfibre cloth, ideally after each wear, to remove sweat and dirt. Store jewellery in a dry place to maintain its shine and avoid impact with hard surfaces to prevent scratches and chips.

Keep jewellery separate to avoid rubbing against other items. When dressing, put on jewellery last to avoid contact with perfumes, chemicals, or body sprays. Allow hand sanitiser, lotions, and creams to dry before wearing. Avoid harsh substances like oils, polishes, nail polish remover, and chlorine, as they may damage the metal.
