In-store Returns
Items purchased in our Miranda or Parramatta Boutique are able to be retuned back to either store for a store credit or exchange. Refunds however must be processed in the store which it was purchased in within 30 days. You cannot return a product purchased in-store to our warehouse for a refund. To organise a return to our warehouse for a store credit or exchange, please fill out the form here.
Domestic Returns
Items may be returned or exchanges within 30 days from the date of purchase. Returns must be received in our warehouse within 30 days from the date of purchase to be eligible for a refund. A refund can only be processed from the original place of purchase.
Returns must be lodged through the online portal. THE SILVER COLLECTIVE does not offer free shipping if you choose to return an item. If you wish to return an item, the jewellery must not be worn or used and must be in the original packaging, jewellery boxes must have all original packaging intact, no visible marks and scuffing and in new and saleable condition. All returned items must include a Return Form, located on the packing slip attached to your order. THE SILVER COLLECTIVE reserves the right to deny a return if the items returned appear used, worn, damaged or scratched.
THE SILVER COLLECTIVE will not take responsibility for any damage caused during transit if the jewellery is not returned in original packaging. It is recommended that jewellery is returned using a tracking service. THE SILVER COLLECTIVE is not responsible for any loss or damage to parcels returned.
SALE items purchased at markdown price, can be returned for a store credit only. This does not include full-priced items purchased using a promotional discount code. SALE items purchased with a further markdown during promotion, are treated as a clearance, or last chance sale. SALE items purchased during these promotions will not be eligible for return or exchange, unless stated on the promotional terms and conditions. Any items bought as part of the Sample Collection or SAMPLE SALE cannot be returned for a refund, store credit or exchange.
THE SILVER COLLECTIVE does not accept returns on: Custom Charm Necklaces, earrings or earring accessories due to hygiene reasons, gift with purchase, samples and sale items marked as 'last chance'.
We do not offer free shipping if you choose to return an item. It is at the customer's expense to safely send their returns to THE SILVER COLLECTIVE and their responsibility until confirmation of receipt by our Silver Support team. Any returns that are received Returned To Sender will be charged a $10.00 postage fee to cover the cost of returning the exchanged item. If you have an order that has failed to delivery and marked as Returned To Sender, please refer to shipping information.
All returns take approximately 2-3 business days to be processed once received by our warehouse. Please allow extra time during seasonal and promotional sale periods. THE SILVER COLLECTIVE will only accept returns purchased directly from the official online store or Sydney store. Jewellery purchased from other stockists must be returned to their original place of purchase.
Exchange Policy
If the size or colour is incorrect, you may lodge an exchange request through the online portal. Size exchanges are subject to stock availability. If you wish to exchange your piece for a different style or colour, a store credit will first need to be issued. From there the store credit can be redeemed at checkout to repurchase the different style.
All returns take approximately 2-3 business days to be processed once received by our warehouse. Please allow extra time during seasonal and promotional sale periods.
We do not offer free shipping if you choose to return an item for an exchange. It is at the customer's expense to safely send their returns to THE SILVER COLLECTIVE and their responsibility until confirmation of receipt by our Silver Support team. Postage on all exchange orders are free of cost and are sent via standard shipping with AusPost.
Store Credit
Store credit notes may be issued within 30 days of purchasing. Issued amount will be for the purchase price of the item. If a discount is used, the discount price will be issued. Discounts are not transferrable and cannot be used on a new transaction.
We also offer 110% Store Credit if you wish to return a full-priced item. To be eligible, the resolution, "return for 110% gift card", must be selected when lodging your return online. The item must be eligible for a refund, and excludes all sale and last chance items or exchange orders. Store credit valued 110% of the purchase price of the item will be issued.
Store credits are automatically applied to your purchase if you are signed in to your customer account. If you do not have an account, simply enter the code emailed to you in the gift card and discount code field at checkout. Store credits have a 1 expiry date and are non-refundable.
In-store Returns

Store issued credits can be used online and in-store. The code will need to be entered in the discount code and gift card field to redeem.

International Returns

Store Credit 110%
Store Credit 110% will be an option if you wish to return a full-priced item. To be eligible, the resolution, "return for 110% gift card", must be selected when lodging your return online. We will provide you with a store credit worth 110% of the price of the product returned (the amount of the paid price plus an extra 10%). To receive this option, the item must be eligible for a return. This option is not offered to sale, samples and last chance items, exchange orders and items purchased using a promotion code.

Returning a Gift
If you received a gift that was unsuitable, you may choose to return the item for a gift card to repurchase your choice of gift. We do not accept returns on last chance sale items, samples, earrings and gift with purchase. Please lodge your return request using the returns portal and click 'returning a gift'. You will be required to fill in an order number and the gifter's email address or postcode. Gift Cards have a 3 year expiry date. To redeem you will need to enter the gift card code emailed to you in the gift card and discount field. Warranty Information
THE SILVER COLLECTIVE offers a six month manufacturers warranty with every piece of jewellery purchased in-store and online. This warranty is effective from purchases made from the 1st of September, 2023. The item, the date of purchase and proof of purchase must be retained for warranty to be valid. Our jewellery is of delicate nature and care must be taken when worn. To ensure the longevity of your Jewellery, we recommend to follow the care instructions.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects. This does not include tarnishing, general wear and tear, chain breakage, neglect, and the loss of an item. The warranty is voided if the jewellery has been lost, bent, engraved, altered and modified, damaged by accident, misuse, and discolouration caused by scratches and foreign substances.
Our Waterproof Jewellery can be worn in water and is made for everyday wear. Our warranty covers the fading of plating in the case where the 925 sterling silver piece beneath starts to show.
All metals can tarnish over time. However, contact with foreign substances such as hand sanitiser, cleaning agents, soap, cosmetic products, and acidic skin types can cause discolouration much faster. Tarnishing and discolourations caused by the above reasons will not be covered under this warranty.
Scratches are also not considered a manufacturing defect, meaning it is not covered under warranty as they occur from everyday wear. This includes the wearing down of plated surfaces, physical contact, and friction against other hard and/or rough surfaces will cause the plated layer to wear. This is considered general wear and tear and will not be covered under warranty.
Jewellery that has been deemed faulty by THE SILVER COLLECTIVE will be offered a replacement or store credit.
Please note that your billing address must match the address on your credit card statement.

Faulty Items
Our warranty is only valid when the issue is proven a manufacturing default by our after-sales care professionals. It is at our discretion whether the faulty product will be replaced.
To make a warranty claim, please bring your proof of purchase in store, or contact our Silver Support team at online@thesilvercollective.com with your order number or proof of purchase, full name of purchaser and multiple images and description of the issue for an assessment.
Please note that wear and tear of normal use is not considered a fault. THE SILVER COLLECTIVE jewellery pieces are delicate in nature and should be handled with proper caring instructions.
